We are searching for a Global Business Unit Manager to join our Tecnica Footwear team. The resource will have the following responsibilities: ·Put Consumer First: Exceptionally consumer focused; ability to gain and understand consumer needs and translate them into insight-based value propositions; ·Re-Shape Strategy: Develops consumer first strategies; understands the future development of consumer needs and market development and proposes strategic priorities; balances authentic outdoor footwear consumer needs with fashion conscious consumer needs; ·Deliver Results: Drives execution of agreed plans, monitors performance and takes corrective actions as needed. Delivers top- and bottom-line results; ·Grow business towards a sustainable size: act as commercial leader with a focus on Europe across channels in the beginning, then drive international expansion. Explore, and exploit, the lifestyle opportunity of the brand; ·Inspire & Influence: Bridge Builder who enables cross functional collaboration, breaks silos and co-creates meaning and purpose. The ideal candidate has the following characteristics: ·Bachelor or Master Degree in business relevant field, preferably MBA from recognized institution; ·2 – 3 years Business Unit Management and/or divisional leadership experience in a similar environment (durable consumer goods, ideally sports and/or fashion); ·Relevant commercial experience in the sporting goods industry; ideally outdoor footwear; ·Digital brand building experience and track record in using innovative digital consumer marketing and sales channels; ·Knows and understand the European marketplace with specific experience in the traditional bricks & mortar key account channel for sporting goods, additional experience within digital and lifestyle channel preferred; ·Has led, or was involved, in the Product Development Process for outdoor Footwear; ·International Experience with a touch of Italianism: a global citizen with multi-country experience, ideally across global regions who understands different cultures and consumer behaviours with some exposure to Italian working culture; ·Has led, or worked with, complex teams in a matrix environment; · Can be a junior profile with the ambition and capability to make a difference and for whom this role represents a significant career development; ·English and Italian (both fluent), preferably third European language; ·MS office, SAP, Salesforce; ·Digital commerce and marketing mechanics; ·Negotiation Skills with B2B partners ·Effective communication and influencing in a multi-stakeholder, international matrix environment; · Strategic, fact-based mindset coupled with hands-on, sleeves-up mentality; · Kept up to date with digital and sustainability topics/themes;
