Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026 is the Organizing Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games of 2026, carrying on the organization, promotion and communication of the sporting and cultural events related to the next Winter Games. Milano Cortina 2026 will be the first large-scale Olympics in history: 13 Olympic venues, 21 provincial capitals, 2,300 municipalities directly involved, over an area of 22,000 square km. The Milano Cortina 2026 Organizing Committee has been established in 2019 with the purpose of organizing Olympic and Paralympic Games in compliance with the Host City Contract signed jointly by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), the two cities of Milano and Cortina and the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI). Furthermore, the Italian Paralympic Committee, the Regions of Lombardy and Veneto, as well as the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano/Bozen are all partners in this major national-level project, with the support of the Italian Government.
Position: The Communications Coordinator will support the delivery of clear, consistent, and timely communications to National Olympic Committees (NOCs) and National Paralympic Committees (NPCs) in the lead-up to and during the Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026. The role will focus on the creation and management of written communications, operational documents, and digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in implementing a comprehensive pre-Games communications programme for NOCs and NPCs, including newsletters, progress reports, presentations, and direct written updates;
- Contribute to the drafting, editing and regular updating of the NOC/NPC Chefs de Mission Guide.
- Support the implementation of Games-time written communications to NOCs and NPCs.
- Prepare presentations, meeting minutes and reports for internal and external use.
- Create and manage operational documentation, including trackers, lists and tables.
- Draft and edit internal policies and procedures.
- Design and maintain SharePoint pages dedicated to NOC/NPC services and updates.
Skills: - Proven strong copywriting and editing skills in English;
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint;
- Knowledge of Mailchimp;
- Basic graphic design skills;
- Strong analytical thinking;
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail;
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Proactive mindset and problem-solving skills;
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, fast-paced environment.
Knowledge: - Advanced proficiency of English, confirmed C2/C1 (native or bilingual speaker)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Mailchimp

Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in a communications role is required, preferably within a major event or international organisation.
