For an international mechanical company in the automotive industry, we are looking for a:
COMMODITY MANAGER - metal parts
Main Responsibilities: · Support engineering and operations by leading procurement activities for CapEx projects during initiation, study, pre-project, detailed engineering, and execution phases. · Create, present and implement comprehensive strategies for assigned commodities. · Achieve cost savings through bids and negotiations. Participate in cross-functional teams to find, evaluate, and select appropriate suppliers that will enhance the value of the organization and help to achieve targeted business results. · Manage supplier relationships to ensure improvements in quality, delivery and cost, using KPIs, scorecards, etc. · Ensure compliance with business, environmental, legal and other requirements. · Drive risk management strategy, manage market inflation and deflation by providing accurate forecasts of costs and VRS changes. · Support supplier performance management/development activities. · Drive functional best practices and ensure continuous improvement.
Requirements: · Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics and related fields; · Automotive experience preferred; · General knowledge of financial aspects of capital expenditures, ROCC, ROI, NPV, cash flow, total cost of ownership; · Experience in strategic sourcing analysis and strategy implementation; · Experience in contract creation, negotiation and administration; · Effective time management, organization and ability to prioritize tasks; · Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills within cross-functional teams; · Fluent knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
Working Place: Brescia Province.
