Italdesign is a service company providing design, engineering and production for the transportation industry, through to final testing and type-approval and support into starting of production and the design of complete Business models. Italdesign is looking for a person, who will be in charge of seat belt integration activities.
He/she will be employed in the Interior Functional Development Department of the Italian site of Italdesign. After a professional training phase, he/she will be responsible for direction, coordination, control, and completion of specific projects while remaining aligned with strategy and timing.
Responsibilities - Internal and third parties’ coordination to ensure the flawless projects development
- Implementation of the project requirements, from concept phase to market introduction
- Projects delivery on-time, within scope and within customer budget
- Technical verification to manage changes according to project scope, schedule and costs
- Guarantee coherence and consistency of the technical solution adopted in the project launch
- Risk management to minimize the project risks
- Interface with different stakeholders: engineering, quality, production, logistics departments both internal and also at customer side
- Periodical report of the project progresses internal and with customer’s interfaces
- Promotion of the work of the Organizational Unit within the company and towards the Group Brands
Key requirements - Passive safety product development knowledge
- Project management and problem solving
- Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills
- Soft- and negotiation skills
- Solution oriented rather than problems oriented personality
Preferential requirements - Experience in safety belts development
- Experience in restraints systems performance
Additional Information Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or at least three years of experience in passive safety field Language skills: Fluent knowledge of written and spoken Italian and English are required.
